GUJCET GENERAL INFORMATION

WHO CONDUCT ?

GUJCET mean gujarat commone entrance exam, conducted by GUJARAT SECOUNDARY EDCATION BOARD [GSEB]. for admission in various courses in gujarat state.

FOR WHAT ?

The GUJARAT COMMONE ENTRANCE TEST [GUJCET] conducted by GSEB is the commone entrace exam for admission in various courses in state of gujarat like MBBS, BDS, Pharmcy etc. after standard 12 science .

GUJCET ELIGIBILITY

• Aspirant who have passed HSC exam (Class 12) of science stream conducted by GHHSE (Gandinagar)/ Central Board of Secondary Education (New Delhi) /Council of Indian Schools are eligible to apply for GUJCET. 
• Aspirants appearing for qualifying exam (10+2) are also eligible to apply. 
• The minimum aggregate in terms of percentage for general category candidates is 50 percent.
• The minimum aggregate in terms of percentage for reserved category candidates is 45 percent. 

GUJCET PAPER PATTERN

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test, conducted by GSEB, is the common entrance exam for admission to courses in the state of Gujarat.
For GUJCET there shall be multiple choice question papers of the following subjects and the number of questions, marks and time shall be as mentioned against them. There shall be combined question paper including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The paper will be of 120 ma  rks and of 180 minutes duration – combined OMR Sheet will be of 120 Answers.

The question papers of the examination shall be in Gujarati, Hindi and English languages. It is necessary that a candidate should mention his medium in the application.The question paper shall be of multiple choice questions (MCQ), four options will be given for a question,  out of which one option will be the correct one.

GUJCET MERIT CALCULATION

  • The total marks obtained in the theory of the Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects in the qualifying examination shall be converted to 100 marks and the sixty percent of such converted marks is the total marks obtained.
  • The total marks obtained in the Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) shall be converted to 100 marks and the forty percent of such converted marks shall construe the remaining 40% marks for GUJCET.
